Shipping policy
Deliveries
Our shipping is charged by delivery location and weight and mirrors what it costs us to post your parcel to you. You can preview the exact shipping cost for your delivery before checking out.
Dispatch Other than holiday and Bank Holiday times, your parcel will usually be sent in 2-3 business days (weekdays) and we'll send a dispatch notification when it's on its way. If the stock of a particular item has run out your order might be delayed while new stock arrives. We will try to let you know if this happens.
UK deliveries You can choose from Royal Mail First Class or Second Class post for parcels up to 2kg in weight. We use Royal Mail Large Letter post for thin, lightweight shapes and First or Second Class Small Parcel post for other parcels under 2kg. Parcels over 2kg up to 5kg can be sent by Royal Mail second class post or by DHL. Parcels over 5kg in weight are sent via DHL.
Overseas deliveries As of April 2022 I am sending to European addresses again - for small parcels up to 2kg in weight. Please be aware that import costs are likely to be charged when the parcel enters your destination country, and the customer is responsible for paying the import costs. These can include VAT (tax), import duty and handling charges and they can add a considerable amount to the cost of your parcel.
Little Brown Dog Workshop is not VAT registered, so there is no reduction in our prices for overseas customers. Our shipping rates are for small parcels up to 2kg in weight only. If your parcel is over 2kg, you will get message at checkout saying post is not available. If you still wish to order, please send a message and I will let you know how much the post would be for your larger order.
