Pack of ten seconds - solid wooden ball / sphere 5 cm / 50mm diameter. These balls have a drum waxed finish which seals the porosity slightly and acts an undercoat for painting.
There is sometimes a little roughness at the 'spots' where the grain edge meets the curve of the ball, and sometimes some interesting swooping patterns in the wood grain.
These seconds may have additional marks in the wood grain, slight additional roughness, porosity, or tiny chips or faults at the pip where the shape is removed from the lathe.
